I had been lately taking part in an area on the new social networking platform, Clubhouse, whenever a very amiable gentleman was asked to the level to talk. He related how he’d written a magazine of poetry about his encounters, and existence generally. Actually, he’s an interventional cardiologist. As a result, he literally supports the future of his patients when it comes to existence or dying, in the hands, every day. And that he has utilized these encounters because the grounds for a magazine of poetry, Ibadah, that explores meaning, the function of servitude, love, and loss. Here’s much more about him:

Dr. Ankur Kalra is medical director of clinical research for regional cardiovascular medicine in the Cleveland Clinic, section mind of cardiovascular research at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, a college professor in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of drugs (Affiliate Professor) and NEOMED (Adjunct Affiliate Professor), and founding father of the non-profit startup, makeadent.org. He’s director of Craig J. Maron Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center in New Delhi, India. He’s even the host from the cardiology podcast show, Parallax. He’s presented late-breaking science at national and worldwide scientific cardiovascular conferences, and it has printed over 200 scientific manuscripts in a variety of peer-reviewed journals.

And here’s Dr. Kalra’s description of his book Ibadah: When love transforms into transcendence, existence transforms into servitude.

“Through these poems, I’ve attempted to capture the vulnerability of real love and it is loss. Don’t let losses hamper your innocence or vulnerability or morph you into an emotionally-inert/impenetrable individual you’ll take advantage of yourself from enriching your existence with abundant love.

Convert whatever is lost right into a mission (read again, I made use of the term mission, not “goal”—goals are short-term, missions are suitable for existence) with the energy and the strength of real love and it is loss, yearn to catalyze the planet right into a better place—let your ex be legendary.”

It was probably the most moving interviews I’ve done around the podcast.
